American Navion Society Annual Convention Report
SNAG was well represented again this year at the ANS annual convention held
at
This year's convention began on Sunday but some of us arrived on Saturday to relax and look around. Our flying activities began on Wednesday afternoon.
Sunday evening we had our traditional welcoming
pizza party. On Tuesday and Wednesday we were privileged to have a guided tour of the privately held Lewis Air Legends
Museum at San Antonio. This museum is the home of P-38 "Glacier Girl" as well as two Grumman Tiger Cats and other warbirds.
Evenings were filled with social gatherings and fellowship among members.
Congratulations to SNAG members participating in the flying competition events at the 2018 ANS Annual Convention. Our combined efforts resulted in SNAG winning the ANS Challenge Cup for our 14th consecutive year! Former SNAG President Mitch Midyet should be very proud.
