Hello All,
Our SNAG flying year has come to an end. Thanksgiving is here and then Christmas and New Years Day and then a whole new
year of flying events. As I write this it is cold and raining. I just visited 95K out in the hanger. When the weather is really nasty,
it’s no fun to fly but it’s always nice to go out in the hanger and visit your airplane. Some people might think that is a little
odd, but I know you SNAG guys and girls understand what I’m talking about.
Well, as you can see, Rusty has been busy building SNAG
a new website. Excellent! Since we have a new website I thought it would be a good opportunity to solicit ideas and volunteers for
2014 fly ins. Of course Shade Tree will be March 14th, 15th and 16th, then there will be Cannon Creek and Sun N Fun. So let’s start
there. It would be nice to have a fly in somewhere off the coast where it’s cooler and less humid in May, like in Tennessee, but that’s
just a thought. After the May fly in, the ANS Nationals will be in Natchez, MS at the end of June so we will need a volunteer to host
the September and then the fall fly in.
I’m going to ask Rusty to put a guideline on the website for hosting a fly in so if you haven’t
hosted and you want to, you can just print out a copy and get started.
